Life is a precious gift. Brittany and LeRoy are celebrating and awaiting their first child together. Brittany knew where she wanted to do the maternity session and I knew a little niche in a Houston Garden that would be perfect. Something so natural and angelic. It was truly beautiful.. Congratulations and may God shower you with joy when the baby arrives!!
Now we all know Galveston Beach can be 50/50 for engagement photos. Instead of taking the traditional approach and shooting into sunset. We opted to shoot at dusk. It had been storming earlier during the day but I knew those clouds would give way into something epic... Brittnee and Quincy set up for a little wine and stroll down Galveston seawall and set up for a night of tranquility and peace... Stay tuned for the pillow fight session!!! Special thanks to wedding planner Events with Darrell on coordinating such a beautiful and fun session.
Chateau Polonez in Houston was the perfect place for Sumiko & Brandon. We had just recently slayed Sumiko's Bridal session at Chateau Polonez not too long ago.. That session set the tone for the wedding. Despite having a huge bridal party, everyone was so relaxed & full of love. That's how you know, you chose the right people... The day was a tear jerker, so many tears of joy were shed admist laughter. Brandon was so in the moment, he started freestyling to 25 Lighterz and Sumiko followed suit later that evening... One of my all time faves!! Congratulations once again.
What a joyous day, the uniting of families. The groom not only marries his bride but marries her family as well. Such a gracious showing of humility and good vibes thru-out... Congrats to J & Z on their beautiful union.
Houston is a beautiful scene for fall sunset maternity photos. Caroline is expecting this winter and glowing. The sky decided to glow as well. Signifying a true blessing from God... It was fun session, starting off on lakeside and ending in a nearby hotel lobby. I always enjoy sharing stories and getting insight from other couples. Congratulations to Caroline & Alabi on their first baby!!
So here we are... I've known Erica for quite some time... So I got to know some of the ins and outs of the wedding day before they came to fruition.. Like many brides you get closer and closer to the wedding day and at some point you want to get on with it.. That point finally came at Quail Valley County Club... It was a beautiful day and everyone was fun and festive... Erica & rob both stayed true to nature by rocking the gold evening gown and designer sun shades The photobooth "Snapped by Nicole" was popping all night.. Everyone was dabbing on the dance floor and nothing but smiles galore... Congrats once again to Erica & Rob.
Wow!!! Breath-taking bridal photo session w/ Sumiko at the beautiful Chateau Polonez in Houston... I had known Sumiko for quite some time and I knew she would definitely bring the heat... Is heat, even the right word? This was a lava hot session... With the venue to ourselves, the slayage began as soon as the veil was set... Congratulations to Sumiko!!!
The Woodlands Market Street is jewel box for anyone looking for a date night. The woodlands waterway is known for its romantic breezeways and eatery's. However, tucked inside are boutique hotels perfect for a night out or a stay-cation. Lucretia and Markita are not native to Houston; so for them it was all new... We began the engagement session in a Houston garden before trotting up the freeway before dinner time. There was a high school reunion going in near the lobby but none of that stopped us... Congrats to Lucretia and Markita.
La Concha Resort Hotel San Juan is a gorgeous venue for a wedding.. Nestled right on the San Juan beach, you get spectacular ocean views and can literally walk from your room to the ocean.. No streets or pedestrian traffic to deal with... Continuing from Old San Juan, this was one of the most pleasant wedding days we have ever photographed... Absolutely no stress... Here are a few images from that day. Father of the bride crying tears of joy as his first daughter has been given away... The guest all the way up!!
See the day before bride/groom session and first look in Old San Juan. Click Here! A bride dreams of this moment, the moment where she began to glow. Basking in the beauty of the sun, the joys to be. Wondering what the groom is thinking, how everyone will react... The dress is that surreal moment... It's like being on a cloud... What setting could give you such a feeling. Mercer arboretum in Houston, is simply stunning.. The green and flowery backdrops complimented Aleyse's beauty... I said at the session, that Jay should break down in tears when she graces the aisle... Special shoutout to mua Rae Michelle w/ Naturally Glam... Slayed
Stunning, gorgeous, ravishing... Luxe, Chic... All words that can be used to describe this San Souci Ballroom wedding.... More importantly the love and joy of two souls.... We witnessed some serious choreographed dancing from the bridal party with Nigerian flair.... From the moment the reception started, very few people were in their seats... I must admit, at one point it felt like a production!! Many praises & thanks to A Conceal Affair for planning a marvelous event!!! Congrats to S + C on their heartfelt union.
The Houston Waterwall in the Galleria area is an iconic location for an engagement session. Vivian and Eze played within the mist of as the water cascaded down from above... They felt at home dancing and full of laughter. It was almost like, they wanted to break free. We concluded the session at Mercer Arboretum. Not a soul was there so they were free to explore and be themselves.... Congrats once again!!! Special thanks to Lahoma w/ Events Unleashed... Can't wait until we shoot in Austin.
It's not often that we get to shoot many family oriented sessions due to wedding season.. Well, our bride has been officially hitched and wanted to do a surprise session for her husband who was out of town... Good luck on that because the session was so cute and fun, that the secret got spilled within and hour afterwards... I promise Deijha & Da'nyia must watch Rip the Runway... They were asking me if I was ready lol... I had to post these lovely little divas... About 10 more years, they will be a handful lol...
We have always taken Graduation Photos for Houston Grads, both college and senior high school. We tend to get more college grads however because we tend to go for sophisticated sexy. All of my graduates have wanted something out of the elements. A celebration of not only their achievements but to remember themselves at this moment in time. Chantel told me she wanted something different, something edgy... I thought the Houston Graffiti Wall would be the perfect backdrop. Chantel had a great sense of spirit and really brung it!!! Fierce, playful, and proud... And.... she isn't done yet... PHD is the next phase.
Discovery Green in downtown houston is a gem for engagement photos and activity. You never know what is happening with any given day. It just so happen that there was a comic book convention happened at the Hilton Americas. That led to a few laughs that we captured but really, those smiles were consistent for about 2 hours. Adaeze told me she was nervous, then immediately looked like a season pro when Emmanuel looked in her eyes... The summer heat did nothing but intensify the connection... Such a lovely couple!! Congratulations once again!!
