Everyone says they want a fun engagement session... Sometimes that's hard to define. Most couples will get to a session and ask "where do I put my hands" etc... Well our answer is don't worry about the semantics... If you Love each other, it will truly show... Welp, Victoria & Quinton were exactly thought. A ball of Joy and Laughter... a collegiate hbcu engagement photo theme played out perfectly... Quinton had plenty of lines and Victoria had plenty of smiles... Looking forward to their fall wedding!!
Inspired by the Carter's Paris excursion, we were able to behold an exhibit based on Michaelangelo's Sistine Chapel. The Corinthian Houston was a stunning venue that served these two art lovers. In the midst of hundred of visitors, we captured a few frames. The session was also featured in Munaluchi Bride Magazine. See more of their store here. Congrats to the Glovers!!
2017 Has been an amazing year!!! We were surprised and blessed to be feature in the Munaluchi Bride Magazine Winter issue. The issue features R & B Singer Letoya Luckett and our Superstar couple Coty & Ola... A joint venture with Darell Colone ( Events with Darrell ) yielded this amazing Houston Engagement session. The amazing wedding awaits in 2018... For the full read on the feature, please visit Munaluchi Bride The issue is scheduled to print in January!! For more, please scroll below...
Engagement photos that allow your personality is truly what it's all about. We were blessed to capture motun & Bayo in just that manner at Ravenaux Country Club in Houston. We mixed in a few holes on the green with some dancing and driving. Then capped it off with a little romance at sunset.
Nothing can be more beautiful for an engagement photo session than the natural beauty surrounding us everyday. Sometimes we can become caught up with the trends and pressures from social media. It is always good to take a step back. Here is a small example of Natural Light Houston Engagement Photos just being yourself and soaking up a location we often neglect.
We had the opportunity to capture some delectable engagement photos in Houston for Lauren + Olu. Both possess a stylish fashionista vibe. Donning traditional Nigerian attire, both chose to honor their fusion of Nigerian and Louisiana culture. A crazy thunderstorm was approaching so we managed to get some landscape shots at The Astorian Wedding Venue and some indoor shots at a cozy studio. Let things be simple and your Love will stand out!!! Can't wait until December!!
Fall is such a beautiful time in Houston for Engagement Photos. McGovern Centennial Gardens was an epic location. Everything was so radiant. Courtney & Dustin couldn't stop smiling through-out the session. Even while standing in the midst of the hedges. People were passing by, but as it always does, that didn't stop them from. Congratulations once again!! Looking forward to a beautiful wedding day!
Noelle & Cliff share a special place where they frequent together. Why not make it even more special by capturing their engagement session. Noelle first e-mailed me Cliff's proposal which was beautiful. Noelle does some ice skating and cliff showed up with a ring and he struggled to get across the ice. We decided to mix that into the session with a little twirling and dancing. Then we capped the night off with some romanticism. The park was majestic in that they were alone to themselves, not even a bird was around. Congrats to Noelle & Cliff!!!
One of my favorite engagement photo sessions involving good ol fashion pillow fights... Brittnee & Quincy started out very calm until Quincy threatened to start throwing feathers... From that point it was on. Their son joined in on the mischief and he didn't take sides.. Check out part two of the engagement with a romantic beach stroll.. Simply beautiful. Anticipating their amazing wedding planned by Events w/ Darell
Now we all know Galveston Beach can be 50/50 for engagement photos. Instead of taking the traditional approach and shooting into sunset. We opted to shoot at dusk. It had been storming earlier during the day but I knew those clouds would give way into something epic... Brittnee and Quincy set up for a little wine and stroll down Galveston seawall and set up for a night of tranquility and peace... Stay tuned for the pillow fight session!!! Special thanks to wedding planner Events with Darrell on coordinating such a beautiful and fun session.
The Woodlands Market Street is jewel box for anyone looking for a date night. The woodlands waterway is known for its romantic breezeways and eatery's. However, tucked inside are boutique hotels perfect for a night out or a stay-cation. Lucretia and Markita are not native to Houston; so for them it was all new... We began the engagement session in a Houston garden before trotting up the freeway before dinner time. There was a high school reunion going in near the lobby but none of that stopped us... Congrats to Lucretia and Markita.
The Houston Waterwall in the Galleria area is an iconic location for an engagement session. Vivian and Eze played within the mist of as the water cascaded down from above... They felt at home dancing and full of laughter. It was almost like, they wanted to break free. We concluded the session at Mercer Arboretum. Not a soul was there so they were free to explore and be themselves.... Congrats once again!!! Special thanks to Lahoma w/ Events Unleashed... Can't wait until we shoot in Austin.
Discovery Green in downtown houston is a gem for engagement photos and activity. You never know what is happening with any given day. It just so happen that there was a comic book convention happened at the Hilton Americas. That led to a few laughs that we captured but really, those smiles were consistent for about 2 hours. Adaeze told me she was nervous, then immediately looked like a season pro when Emmanuel looked in her eyes... The summer heat did nothing but intensify the connection... Such a lovely couple!! Congratulations once again!!
Sometimes the best moments in life are the simple gestures. That best describes this couple. It was one of those windy almost about to rain days in Houston. Dark gray clouds were coming and all I had on my mind was, please don't rain... We had half of the park to ourselves until the light turned into a cool peaceful night.... With the traditional Nigerian attire, the colors of the headpiece and dress blew me away!!! Can't wait to shoot the wedding.
When the gathering of critical mass houston bike ride is taking place around you, there is no panic because love is about experiences.
Engagement Photos at Market Square Park in Downtown Houston is normally a quaint place to hide out. Get a bite at Niko Nikos or walk your dog... There were 100s of bikers around us but to Krystal & Jonathan, it didn't matter. In a big of billions, you choose one person to wed. To get a little more privacy, we set out to finish the engagement session at a downtown houston rooftop. The skyline was surreal and it reminded me of Gotham City in a sense. As we beat the rain by mere minutes. Congrats to Krystal & Jonathan. |
