Now, yall all know I'm a city boy lol. I tried something different in lieu of the "usual houston engagement photos".. We rode out thru some farm roads to Garwood, Tx to do a country maternity + engagement photoshoot. I learned a little about farming and seen some other sites in Texas. Franklin wanted to shoot on his Grandfather's land to commerate the coming of a new child and celebrate their upcoming wedding this year. I could of swore I saw a bat and a coyote roaming free but we had some guns that you will see later!! Congrats on the baby and can't wait to shoot the wedding at las velas houston next year!! 

Trakena and Brandon had their first date at Ruggles Green. It only seemed fitting to do their engagement shoot at City Centre. Houston So we will start there... It looks like my job is easy sometime.. When a couple naturally loves each other, all you need to do is observe them... There was a lot ot mini moments between Traneka & Brandon...  After all the play, we shot at Hotel Sorella. Congrats on your engagement and look forward to the Wedding in August!! 

March has been mad crazy... I have never been to the Houstian Hotel even though I have lived in Houston for 32 years and counting. I had done an engagement session for Jami & Julius last year at Oyster Creek Park... The couple really hits it off.. This is one of the most beautiful weddings that I have seen in the flesh. Chloe Cooke did an amazing job on the decor.. Dondria w/ Rasberry Chicks Hair Studio & Alaina with Color du Jour provided their signature styling and make-up artistry. The reception followed the standard set by SignatureEventx... So you know everyone was turned up!!! Congrats to Jami & Julius... Truly honored and happy for you guys!! 

Las Velas Houston looks like taking a trip to Ancient Italy.. The wedding venue is just beautiful... Brandy brought enough bling to compliment the fine design of Las Velas... This is one of my favorite houston weddings so far in 2014.. Lots of energy and humble love... Frank has smiled more than any groom I have seen in the last couple years... The "Turn Up" was real. My advice to any bride and groom is enjoy your wedding!! Such a joy and an honor!! Congrats to Brandy & Frank!!! 

It has been a couple of years since I last shot at the Hilton Garden Inn Wedding in Pearland.. It was a rainy day but the sun was shining in the ballroom on this day. Congrats to Tunisia + Kenneth!! 

Now you might have seen Dara + David's Houston Heights Engagement Photos we did last fall. Everyone who has seen them, loves this couple.. I knew this Houston Wedding would be memorable. Dara + David truly belong together!!  From the colors to the shoes, and the kids. The Heights Villa Wedding Venue was the perfect neutral compliment to their style... I also found out that I took their first photo together many years ago when I first started photography... What a small world, Congrats guys!! 

Another day of unpredictable houston weather It was pretty windy but nevertheless we took some beautfiul engagement photos at Hermann Park. Its a small world in that I did not know that Sharelle was cousins with a good friend of mine. Lesson there is that God places people in our lives for a reason... We did some of the usual spots at Hermann Park but there was a cool art exhibit made from tree vines that made for something unique. Congrats to Sharelle & Jamaal
