Somehow I managed to do a photoshoot in between shooting weddings 3 consecutive weeks. Quincy was my assistant shooter in Ernest & Nicole's wedding. I usually run the jogging trail and Herman and stumbled across a gem of a shoot location.. I couldn't believe in shooting at Hermann Park several times, I never knew this was here... Congrats to Quincy & Angela on the baby!! Whoever thought growing up in Missouri City, I would shoot a wedding there... I felt right at home with this one... We started at the groom's home for prep with the soothing sounds of country rap tunes... I won't go further but Southerners know who that is... Skipped to the bride's parents home for prep and to the event we went... Congrats to Brittany and Mario... Some emotions were shared thru-out the day!! The big day arrived... Having been notified 8 months prior, it doesn't hit you until about 2 weeks before the day... Coming in with a new camera I had never shot a wedding with before was a bit of a challenge.. Working with my secondary photographer Qunicy, we set off to 2 different locations.. I shot the bridal prep at the Hilton Post Oak while he shot the groomsmen at the church. I sped thru a construction zone to make the Ceremony at All Saints Church in the Heights... Man, what a beautiful place w/ a few rules we had to adjust shooting too. Formals were done in a record 25 minutes and the lights were literally cut off as the last photo was taken.. Then we headed to Maggianos to cap the night off!!! Very fun and festive atmosphere... Thanks to Nicole and Ernest and many blessings to them! |
