Fresh off the saddle from the previous equestrian engagement session, we made a trip down to the woodlands waterway. We visited waterway square and even the woodlands mall for some quick shots... The spirit was still high as well as some romance for the formal look. Congratulations once again!! Can't wait for the wedding next year!!
Are horses man's best friend? There was a bond between Jermey and Kendrese that accepted him as extended family. In this engagement photo session, this Houston horse played his role perfectly. A little mischief, even more relaxation. Originally we were scouring the city of Houston for horse riding trails and places to take the engagement photos. Little did we know, there was a field literally a half a mile from the horse's home. It was the perfect place for Kendrese and Jermey to be themselves. I always say, do something that reflects what you are as a person and what you enjoy in life. It will be that much sweeter... Congrats once again and stay tuned for part to in the Woodlands.
Sometimes, us Houston Wedding Photographers experience weddings that seem to be going thru the motions. We honestly try to avoid those couples. In a wedding, my advice to any couple it to live it up and enjoy the moment. At Sugar Creek Country Club we experienced joy and excitement from Banke + Henry... Having shot the traditional wedding a couple days before, I knew that there was a fond love for dancing and great music!!! Congratulations once again!!!
Traditional Nigerian wedding ceremonies are loads of fun... The traditional wedding is always a joy to be apart of. The families of the bride and groom come together and playfully negotiate the giving away of the bride to the groom. A home atmosphere laid down the foundation for everyone to be relaxed and partake in the joy of the occasion. we are so used to brides being stressed and this was the opposite for Banke and Henry. They were dancing and cracking jokes before the moments and were all smiles all day long. Houston had endured one of its many hard rains and floods that night but it stopped nothing...... To be continued.. Look for the white wedding ceremony coming soon.
As a destination wedding photographer, we don't take these opportunities to travel abroad lightly... We going "all the way up"... We had an opportunity to second shoot at an Old San Juan Puerto Rico Wedding... What a historic and beautiful place. Think Miami but with a spanish colonial influence. I literally hopped off the plan in awe of the historic places and modern art deco architecture. We did a bridal session at the Castillo San Cristobal fort. Climbing those hills was a task but the breath taking views and images made it worth it... i even met some locals who were carrying iguanas as pets... Stay tuned for the main wedding at La Concha Resort Hotel San Juan....
Sometimes the best moments in life are the simple gestures. That best describes this couple. It was one of those windy almost about to rain days in Houston. Dark gray clouds were coming and all I had on my mind was, please don't rain... We had half of the park to ourselves until the light turned into a cool peaceful night.... With the traditional Nigerian attire, the colors of the headpiece and dress blew me away!!! Can't wait to shoot the wedding.
